Disappointing. The entire design is really well done. However, I've never seen a game like this with such an unbalanced early game. The cooking wait times for entry-level recipes are ATROCIOUS. I just downloaded the game, and now I immediately have to wait 5 to 10 minutes for everything? For recipes AND ingredients? I'm genuinely shocked by such a brutal setup. If this intro was more reasonably balanced, I'm sure I would have gotten super addicted. As is, it's an easy choice to drop and delete.

↳ Hi Chef, the cooking times in Star Chef 2 are balanced with various factors in mind, but there are ways to speed things up. Try using Boosters, cooking helps, and team chat dish requests, or upgrade appliances to reduce wait times. These features can help you progress smoothly and enjoy the game more!

It is a fun game, but it takes too long to make food. You wait for crops to grow, make sauces, and then the dish, so it takes hours for 1 dish! You need dishes for restaurant, for boat, foodland, events, etc. You can't focus on all of it. It is too slow. The mini games are fun, but they can force you to pay to win. Overall it is a lot of waiting, and very little playing.

↳ We always aim to deliver a great experience, and we are gutted when we don’t meet expectations. Thanks for taking the time to bring this to our attention. We will use the feedback to make us better.

Before this newest update I'd have given a much higher rating but now... I'm done. This game was focused on cooking challenges with growing some crops, filling orders, working with a team or solo. It was rather fun with the exception of how long it took to earn coins to purchase new appliances and plots. However, now it seems to be a farming game with a focus on growing basics to feed animals, a trading post that takes hours to get items you may or may not need. Not interested in this format.

↳ Hi Chef! We’re sorry to hear that the recent update hasn’t matched your expectations. While the game has shifted focus with new elements, your feedback about the changes is valuable, and we’ll keep it in mind as we work on future updates. We appreciate your input and hope you find some enjoyment in the game’s remaining features.

The game is ok, but it costs so much money to expand, to buy new appliances, and way too long to cook some of the dishes. If you have the money to expand, it makes no sense to do so because most likely you're already at your maximum with tables. The newest side game (the bakery one) causes my game to crash everytime I try to play it so I uninstalled and reinstalled to see if that helps. Cooking dishes cost a lot of baskets and they tend to run out rather quickly...

You have to constantly purchase stuff to get any type of movement in the game, waiting for anything to be done takes forever, if you run out of storage for items you're screwed. For the love of God I couldn't get corn, because you're supposed to grow it, but that was never a option. You need game money, not coins to purchase in app items, but you get rewarded so little cash. After 2 days I'm over it. *Update* I was never given the option to grow corn in the backyard. Which seems ridiculous .
